Platinum Computers has been building new custom built computers since we opened our computer shop in Hartlepool back in 2002, not like pc world and comet, all of our pcs are upgradeable, and we build YOUR computer for YOU.

We put a selection of software on all of our new PC builds, including an Windows 7 activated with Microsoft, Internet Security package, office package (not Microsoft Office), Acrobat reader, media player, burning software and install flash player. Take your new computer home plug it in and start using it, we do all the work,so you don't have to, you just sit back and enjoy your new computer.

Question. what do I get from you that differs from pc world and comet?

Answer. When we build a new computer, we build it for YOU, we don’t keep stock PCs in a store room, we build it specifically for YOU its yours, we install and activate the Windows 7, attach the product code to your computer and you get the Windows 7 disc, that's yours, you get minimum of one of the new AMD or Intel dual core processors (comes with a manufacturer’s 3 years warranty).

Tower Only PC.

• Windows 7 Operating System installed activated with Microsoft and the product code attached to your new PC and the Windows 7 Media DVd is yours.

• The new range of Intel G620 or AMD A4 3300 dual core processes.

• Minimum of a 500 gig SATA2 Hard Drive 7200 RPM.

• Asus Motherboard (Brand Dependant on Stock), Onboard Video, Sound and Lan.

• Branded Single 2 Gig Stick Desktop DDR3 memory (currently using Kingston Memory), Upgrade to 4 or 8 gig of Memory.

• 24 speed Sata DVD Writer.

• Black or Black and Silver ATX Case.

We can customize your new PC to what you want, make it Wireless, Add on Graphic Card, Additional Memory, Bigger Hard Drive and so on.
